Product Marketing Manager

Decision Lens is looking for a talented product marketing manager with experience and success in comprehensive product delivery to join a growing company and a growing marketing department.  As Decision Lens thrives and transforms from a single-software-platform company to a multi-product line software company, marketing, and especially product marketing, will be a big focus of investment and energy.  Accordingly, product marketing managers will be at the front end of making that transition successful.  Key responsibilities will include developing product messaging, producing product collateral and materials, creating product campaigns, identifying target customers, and executing interactive activities.

A good candidate will have experience and a history of outstanding performance in business-to-business product marketing, ideally in a software-as-a-service environment, with a flair and passion for successful, externally-focused marketing campaigns.  He or she will be part of a growing marketing team with a new focus on generating buzz and activity around Decision Lens products.  The ability to write, be creative, and build sales assets will also be key to the success of this role.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

  • Developing product messaging for use across all marketing channels – web channels, sales channels, marketing assets, etc.
  • Developing product marketing assets like videos, product demos, sales presentations, white papers, data sheets, etc.
  • Identifying external channels for proliferation of product messaging like journals, websites, professional events, social channels, etc.
  • Executing multi-level and multi-channel product campaigns including interactive, content, and direct marketing
  • Identifying and segmenting target customers or customer types for use in lead generation and by sales
  • Managing roll out of new products or messaging to internal colleagues and teams
  • Supporting sales teams in the delivery of product messaging and content, as requested
  • Conducting market research to determine solid and new marketing channels, key product needs, and important customer desires
  • Documenting and communicating future product development needs to technology team members

Job Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience with a BS/BA or MBA Degree
  • Strong experience in product marketing execution, especially in a Software-as-a-Service (Saas), renewal-based business model
  • Demonstrated outstanding communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Effectively work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Manage projects and work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to learn new technologies and tools
  • Experience with creative/design software (preferably Adobe Creative Suite) would be ideal, but is not required
  • Experience with marketing automation software (preferably Hubspot) and CRM software (preferably Salesforce.com) is not required, but would be ideal
  • Experience with Decision Lens software is not required, but a plus

 

Travel:

Travel is not a requirement of the position, but there may be occasions to travel to support Decision Lens events or attend industry events.
