Decision Lens, a leading provider of desktop and Web-based collaborative decision making software, has been selected by The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) for Military Construction (MILCON) planning and resource allocation and headquarters budgeting, among other purposes. Contract terms were not disclosed, although the agreement represents one of Decision Lens’ largest seat licenses to date.
With more than 17,000 Soldiers, civilian employees and direct contractors – including 11,000 industry expert engineers and scientists – RDECOM is the Army’s technology leader and largest technology developer. The command integrates and delivers technology-enabled solutions to warfighters. RDECOM develops technologies in eight major laboratories and research, development and engineering centers. It also integrates technologies developed in partnership with an extensive network of academic, industry, and international partners.
Over time, RDECOM intends to use Decision Lens across the organization – integrating these processes into requirements prioritization at its research, development, and engineering centers.
“RDECOM is specifically focused on supporting soldiers in the field; the Command’s work is critical to protecting our active duty men and women. Consequently, the way they allocate resources to ongoing work is vitally important to the Army and to us here at home,” said Decision Lens CEO John Saaty. “Decision Lens is proud to be able to bring our collaborative decision making expertise, insight and tools to the important work at RDECOM.”
Decision Lens software is used widely throughout state and federal government agencies and across the Intelligence Community, with clients including the US Navy, the Joint Staff and CENTCOM. Decision Lens also serves numerous well-known national and international commercial clients such as Petrobras, Johnson and Johnson, Kraft, and Superbowl-winning Green Bay Packers, among other organizations.
Decision Lens develops progressive decision-making software solutions that allow organizations to make complex decisions more effectively and efficiently. Our collaborative software platform structures decisions, quantifies intangible factors, and evaluates choices that enable organizations to reach their goals.
