Decision Lens Selected to Drive Planning and Resourcing for US Transportation Security Agency (TSA)

October 20, 2016

Addition of Key Federal Transportation Agency Rounds Out Total Industry Coverage

Today Decision Lens announced that the Transportation Security Agency (TSA), an organization within the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), has selected Decision Lens software for multiple operational planning and resourcing uses. The software will be used throughout the agency for a range of planning and resourcing activities across the Agency. With more than 55,000 employees, TSA is charged with providing effective and efficient security for passenger and freight transportation in the United States.

“Decision Lens is used across the transportation sector, from numerous state DOTs and transit agencies to rail carriers such as Amtrak, airlines such as Allegiant, manufacturers such as Sikorsky and other large aerospace companies, and all the way up to the Federal Aviation Administration and Federal Railroad Administration (agencies within the US DOT) who have been successful customers for years. The addition of the Transportation Security Agency, a highly respected organization within the Department of Homeland Security, for such a broad-ranging enterprise-level application very much rounds out the use of Decision Lens for planning and resourcing across the transportation sector,” said John Kealey, CEO of Decision Lens.

Decision Lens software is used across numerous organizations for better strategic prioritization and resource allocation. Federal customers include the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Navy, Army, Coast Guard, General Services Administration, Department of Agriculture, and the Federal Aviation Administration among many others. State and local organizations include the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the State of Ohio Office of the CIO, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, and Seattle Public Utilities among others.  Commercial customers that have been announced include Johnson & Johnson, Genentech, Mondelez, and Sikorsky among others.
