Naval Supply Systems Comm Teams with Decision Lens for Project Prioritization and Budgeting

October 6, 2010

Decision Lens, a leading provider of desktop and Web-based decision support software for enterprise resource allocation and planning, has been selected by the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP).  Specifically, NAVSUP will implement Decision Lens for their five year Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning process for prioritizing programs associated with managing the supply chain for the US Navy.

NAVSUP, headquartered in Mechanicsburg, Pa., is primarily responsibility for providing supply support to US Navy forces worldwide. With a worldwide civilian and military workforce of over 9000 people, NAVSUP meets this responsibility by performing a variety of logistic services including supply operations, contracting, resale, information systems, fuel, conventional ordnance, transportation, support services, and security assistance. NAVSUP's most important responsibility is the worldwide, integrated Navy Supply System, which gets the Fleet what it needs, where and when it needs it.

“NAVSUP is pulled in many different directions with thousands of men and women relying on their timely response. Efficiency and accountability are what they do best,” says Decision Lens CEO, John Saaty. “With Decision Lens they can prioritize every initiative and continue to tackle more and more requests.”
