Today Decision Lens announced that the Washington State Department of Corrections (WADOC) is using the Decision Lens cloud-based solution for IT investment prioritization and resource allocation. As a part of the Washington state IT enterprise license, WADOC now prioritizes the IT enhancements, projects and defects to ensure that the resources of the IT organization are aimed at the most strategically critical systems to provide necessary updates, upgrades, and maintenance.
The Washington State Department of Corrections (WADOC) is a cabinet-level executive branch department of the state government of Washington. WADOC, the largest public safety agency in Washington State, is responsible for administering adult corrections programs operated by the State of Washington. This includes state correctional institutions and programs for offenders supervised in the community.
“The proof of the value that any software solution delivers is when it expands within both new and currently existing customers who are able to realize more and more value through better outcomes,” said John Kealey, Chief Executive Officer of Decision Lens. “WADOC’s use under the Washington State Enterprise license is exactly this type of proof point.”
Decision Lens software is used across commercial and government organizations for better prioritization and resource allocation. Key clients include Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Allegiant, and Sikorsky. Federal customers include the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Navy, Army, General Services Administration, Department of Agriculture, and U.S. Coast Guard, as well as state and local organizations such as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, Bay Area Rapid Transit and others.
